1. Who we are

SkyBuild Technologies is the business name used by HAITHAM IGULU, a sole proprietor based in Kampala, Uganda. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how it is handled.

2. Information we collect

• Contact form: when you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email, phone number, country, project type, budget range, and message, so we can respond to your enquiry.
• AI chat assistant: messages you send to "Sky" are sent to Google's Generative Language API when the assistant is enabled so it can generate a response. Please do not share sensitive personal, account, or payment credentials in chat.
• Client accounts: if you become a client, we store the details needed to deliver your project and manage billing (such as your name, contact details, invoices, and payment status).

3. Payment processing data

The payment provider is identified at checkout or in the payment instructions. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record only for orders completed through Paddle Checkout. Other payment methods may be processed by the provider shown for that transaction. We do not collect or store card numbers or card security codes. Depending on the payment method, we may receive and retain information such as the payer's name, contact details, payment status, amount, and transaction reference to confirm payment, provide the product, and keep required business records. Each provider processes payment credentials under its own privacy terms.

4. Cookies

We use a single functional cookie to keep an administrator signed in to our internal dashboard. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site.

5. How we use your information

We use information to respond to enquiries, perform contracts, deliver and support products and projects, confirm payments, comply with legal obligations, protect our services, and improve our business. Where required by law, we rely on consent for optional processing. We do not sell personal information.

6. Service providers and sharing

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate this website and provide our services. These may include our database provider (Supabase), Google's Generative Language API, our email-delivery provider, and the payment provider used for a particular order, such as PesaPal or Paddle Checkout. Paddle receives information for Paddle Checkout transactions only; it does not process other transactions on our behalf.

7. Data retention

We keep enquiry and project information only as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide services, resolve disputes, and meet record-keeping obligations. Payment providers may retain transaction data under their own privacy notices and legal obligations.

8. Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, subject to any records we're required to keep (for example, for invoicing). Contact us using the details below to make a request.
