1. Ownership and operation

SkyBuild Technologies (skybuildtechnologies.com) is the business name used by HAITHAM IGULU, an individual sole proprietor based in Kampala, Uganda. The business is not incorporated. Software delivery, service commitments, and business operations are undertaken by HAITHAM IGULU as sole proprietor.

2. Merchant of Record disclosure

For a transaction completed through Paddle Checkout, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), or the applicable Paddle group entity, acts as reseller and Merchant of Record and is the legal seller of the digital product or software licence purchased through that checkout. Paddle processes that payment and provides first-line order support, including handling refund requests, under its applicable buyer terms and policies. HAITHAM IGULU remains responsible for supplying the product and providing related technical support.

Paddle is not the Merchant of Record for a payment made through another provider or payment channel. The provider and payment terms shown for that transaction apply instead.

3. Using this website

You must use this website lawfully and must not misuse the contact form, AI assistant, or other site features. Actual project scopes, software provisioning, delivery timelines, and other project commitments are established in writing with each client before work begins. By using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or place an order.

4. Scope of services

Information contained on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. The description of our services, pricing, deliverables, timelines, and technical specifications is intended to explain our offerings and may be updated from time to time. Any project, software implementation, custom development, subscription, or production deployment remains subject to a written statement of work, approved scope, and pricing agreed between the parties before work commences.

5. Quotes and pricing

All prices and package details displayed on this website are indicative and may be revised at any time. Final pricing for custom software and website development projects is confirmed in writing before the project starts, and all orders are subject to the final agreed quotation and any applicable payment schedule. Subscription pricing, renewal dates, and billing intervals will be clearly stated at checkout.

6. Payment terms

Paddle processes payment only for orders completed through Paddle Checkout. Other payment methods, where offered, are identified before payment and are processed under the terms of the provider or channel shown to the customer. For custom development engagements, deposits, milestones, and final payments are due according to the approved written agreement between SkyBuild Technologies and the client. Failure to pay amounts when due may result in suspension of access, delay in delivery, or termination of the engagement, as applicable.

7. Refunds and cancellations

If a customer experiences a material technical error, delivery problem, or system failure affecting a digital product, a refund inquiry may be submitted within 14 days of the initial checkout date under the Refund and Cancellation Policy. For Paddle Checkout purchases, Paddle reviews and processes refund requests. Any approved refund is subject to the applicable payment provider's rules. Mandatory consumer rights apply, and the written project agreement governs refunds for custom projects subject to mandatory law.

Subscription renewals continue automatically until cancelled in accordance with the applicable billing arrangement. If a customer cancels during an active billing period, access will normally remain available until the end of the current cycle unless otherwise stated in the relevant plan or contract.

8. User obligations

You agree to use this website and our services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with applicable law, professional standards, and these Terms. You agree not to submit false, misleading, abusive, or unlawful information through the website, contact form, or any other service channel.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, design, graphics, code, branding, product descriptions, photographs, and documentation, is the property of SkyBuild Technologies unless otherwise stated. The content may not be copied, reproduced, redistributed, or reused without prior written permission, except where expressly allowed by applicable law or a separate licensing arrangement.

10. Confidentiality and data handling

SkyBuild Technologies will use commercially reasonable efforts to protect confidential information shared by clients and website users, including personal and business data. However, no system can guarantee absolute security, and information supplied through public internet channels may be subject to third-party interception or transmission risk. Clients remain responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their own credentials and security-sensitive information.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkyBuild Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or similar damages arising from the use of this website, the services, or any product ordered through the site, including loss of business, data, goodwill, or reputational harm, even where advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms and any services provided shall not exceed the fees actually paid by the customer for the relevant service or product, unless a higher limit is expressly stated in a signed written agreement between the parties.

12. Warranty disclaimer

The website and our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, free from errors, or completely secure at all times, nor do we guarantee that every project requirement will be met without limitations, subject to the specific terms of the relevant project agreement.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website, products, or services if a user breaches these Terms, fails to pay an amount due, or engages in conduct that is unlawful, harmful, or materially disruptive to the operation of the website or business.

14. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. Material revisions will be effective when published on this website. Continued use of the website after such publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kampala, Uganda, unless otherwise required by mandatory applicable law.
